A Different Puerto Rico

In October 2022, my grandmother, Nancy Rodriguez, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a battle she faced with strength and endless love. After three long years, she passed away on February 28, 2025. When I returned to Puerto Rico for her funeral, I felt the weight of loss and the warmth of reunion all at once. Through my lens, I tried to hold onto the moments where grief and love met, where tears softened into laughter, and memories became light. This series is my way of saying goodbye, but also of remembering the beauty she left behind in all of us.
